You spend more in a high end restaurant... interesting factoid. How about because high end restaurants cost more? There's a theory. I think we spend more because we are hungry for stuff... and I say stuff because sometimes it is good or bad. For instance, a recent experience in a diner with A... The food... not great. Inexpensive, but typical for a diner. But... relatively speaking, could we have saved money even at the diner? Yes. Try going with the fries that come with the meal instead of upgrading to Poutin which you know won't be done the right way. How about not ordering that piece of Maple cream pie which sounded great at the time, was pretty good as we ate, and regretted as we dragged ourselves down the street to watch professional wrestlers. "Snap into a Slim Jim!"
